Mr. Kunal Makhija and Mr. Parth Chandok completed their graduation in business management. They together moved on to join AON and then shifted to EY for better prospects. Working with AON and EY, we often found ourselves in the position to plan our office parties. It was during this time that we discovered the inefficiency of the whole system which goes behind searching and booking the apt venue for the kind of party one wants to throw. It took us 8 hours, each time, to find the perfect venue suiting our requirements. It was this difficulty that we faced first-hand which acted as our inspiration behind thinking of Sloshout, a platform that we aimed to provide the users with to access restaurants and party venues without the immense hassle of time consumption, poor negotiation skills as only few of the problems associated with it.

Sloshout is a web platform that helps the customers find the perfect venue for their event and book the best packages on group parties. We, at Sloshout, provide expert suggestions on selection of venues, based upon the customer’s requirements.

You will receive an email within a couple of minutes with the best options available and our representative will always be there to help you choose the most appropriate venue.

Unmatched Customer Experience is one of the best strategies used at Sloshout to achieve a competitive edge in the market. Sloshout has digitalised the venue booking process and reduced the customer efforts to the maximum extent.
Increase Customer Engagement by creating user friendly venue booking process and listening to them throughout the process. Assigning the customers a Venue Expert to guide them at all stages.
Form long-term relations with the partnered venue by providing them with only quality leads to work on. We understand that the more a partnered venue wants to work with us, the better our payment terms will be.
Tell us about your amazing team members?
Kunal Makhija (26) and Parth Chandok (26), Co-founders of Sloshout, completed their graduation in business management. They have more than 4 years of professional experience in Consulting in 2 of the best multi-nationals in the world, namely Aon and EY. Kunal handles all the venue relations and operations, and Parth takes care of all the marketing and customer relations for Sloshout.
Saurabh Dutt (26) is the technical head for Sloshout. He has 5 years of experience in web development and app development.
Rishi Kumar (27) is the digital marketing expert at Sloshout. He has 5 years of experience in the respective field.
Currently, Sloshout is a 12 members team, comprising of employees handling backend data operations, customer relationship, content writing, social media and finance.
What is the big picture of your company? What are your future plans?
The nightlife industry in India is more than Rs. 12,000 crores, growing at a CAGR of 20%, and we aim to seize the opportunity. Ready to launch in 5 new metro cities in the first half of next year, namely Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Jaipur and Hyderabad, we plan to expand our services and multiply our revenue and profits significantly, and aiming to clock a GMV of 3 million dollars in the next financial year.
Sloshout is also looking at the technical aspect of introducing machine learning in our services with an aim to reduce the operational and time costs and moving towards automating the entire process for a better customer service. We at Sloshout see it as a never-ending journey of achieving new heights every day and strive for a very simplistic yet unmatched experience for its customers.
What is your best motivation line that inspires you?

What were the key Learning’s from your journey that you would like to share with our audience?
Never give up: Initially when we started, to have venues on board on our platform was the biggest challenge. They confused us with one of the zillion companies that send customers on a la carte basis by offering discounts. Instead, we wanted to sell their standard party packages and provide them with big group of customers.
Also, to convince customers was a tough job for us. It was hard for them to understand that we help them in every way, that too for free. They considered it too good to be true.
We finally got some venues and some corporate clients and since then there was no looking back.
Could you share details about source of funding, revenue, client acquisition model and statistics so far?
Since its inception, Sloshout has grown purely by word of mouth. In a span of 2 years, it has grown to organize more than 1600 parties, clocking a GMV of Rs. 5 crores by serving to more than 45,000 customers.
Sloshout has over 2000 venues listed on the website.
We receive around 1200 event inquiries every month, leading to over 250 events a month.
Sloshout charges a marketing fee to its partnered venues on a quarterly or yearly basis.
