Could you briefly tell us about the Founders of company?
It is said that there is no substitute to hard work. This statement bears testimony in the journey of MY SELF. As a young boy, I was a mediocre student, perusing his Diploma in Mechanical in BIRLA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY in Kolkata. So from a young age, I knew that I had to work had in order to achieve something big in life. I decided to learn mechanical 3D modeling software. But I realized later that, this is not something unique because a lot of his contemporaries were also doing the same. Owing to my management skills, and expertise in solving real-life problems I decided to do a bit of networking with my contacts in order to acquire some industrial projects. I observed that a lot of people are acquiring freelancing work for themselves by posting an add on Justdial. I realized that I can also do the same thing. Suddenly I received an inquiry of Design a Pollution Mask for Mallcom (India) Ltd.
Owing to my lack of formal training and experience I did not even know how much to quote for that project. I was successful in getting my first project, due to my lack of experience of Market price. This way I entered into the Freelance World while simultaneously pursuing my B.Tech Degree in Mechanical at JIS College of Engineering. By the time I completed my course, I had gathered experience as I worked on numerous corporate projects.
After finishing college I got a job at in Pune as a sales engineer in Sneha Bearings Pvt.Ltd. Having knowledge in Design Software I supports their Design Team during the work load. After few months I started supporting Sales and Design both departments.
However, I switched my job & joined my 2nd company C.C ENGINEERS PVT LTD as a design engineer for design & design validation.
But again with an urge to learn something new & different, I again switched my job & joined a German MNS company named PRETTL as a design engineer.
I realized that now technically I have gather lots of knowledge but I don’t know how a company gets all its work orders or sale its products or services.
For this I joined another company called EDGEWORKS DESIGN CATALYST wherein I was offered a Techno Commercial role. Here I learnt about sales & commercial part & how to face & interact with customers in 2 years. Hear I was Head Technical as well as I manage Sales.
When and How the idea of ‘KKR Bose Design’ took place? You can share your inspirations?
After 2 years in EDGEWORKS DESIGN CATALYST, I realized that I have acquired enough knowledge and expertise to start my own company to solve 2 important problems which I felt this service industry is facing i.e. Always best quality’s comes with excessive pricing & delay in project execution, as because of these problems he got to work as a freelancer during his college days.
But I didn’t have enough funds available, still I managed to started my company with 20K only, registered Bose Design as Pvt Ltd as the name of KKR BOSE DESIGN SERVICES PVT LTD in 19th May 2016. The company will be completing its 2nd year anniversary this May 2018.
What is your startup all about? Are you trying to solve any problem in the industry?
Any company need different type of Designing Services to outsource like; Product Design, Engineering Design, Website design, Banner Design, Poster Design, Mailer Design, Product or Services Explanatory Video, Company Profile Video etc. But for all this services they need to contact different companies, they could not get it under a single umbrella.
And another thing is, always best quality’s comes with excessive pricing & delay in project execution is also normal now days.

Tell us about funding
I started KKR with 20K only, This Company was started by a single person but now it possesses 5 different departments in different fields, serving clients from all over India with most of them being from Mumbai & Pune.
I have been successful to manage my group of people which has born my rich dividends as KKR Bose Design Services has an estimated turnover of close to 25 lakhs at the end of 2017-18 fiscal years.
However now that work load is increasing, KKR needs to expand to meet this growing need. KKR need to maintain the Relation, Quality & Timeline. i.e KKR need to increases the team with dedicated smart people. For this KKR need lots of investment as well. I am planning for gathering funding from Government Policy or Banks or Investors.
What type of strategies do you think are valuable to take company to the next level?
KKR right now need to build GOOD in-house team to maintain current Relation, Quality & Timeline. Need to build up New Financial and Sales Strategy. Need to Focus Global Market.
What is your vision and values for your company?
KKR always believe in relations. Our vision to achieve the needs of the customers, as them to reach to the right market. KKR helps to achieve the customers to drive their technology towards their best future needs.
Tell us about your amazing team members?
The company was started by a single person but now KKR have 7-8 in-house members and 22 contractual members who have years of experience in the related field of work.
KKR have few talented and Experience Engineers, Creative and Techno-Commercial People.
According to me, “This is not my journey, this is the journey of all my supporters who believed in me, supported and encouraged me. I am really thankful to all my colleagues, contractual workers and vendors without their support it would have been difficult for me to complete two years without any funding.”
What is the big picture of your company? What are your future plans?
KKR starts with 20K and single person without any infrastructure, But Now within 2 years it has 25 lakhs turnover with 20-30 manpower and limited infrastructure without any funding.
In 1st financial year KKR only submitted 2lks turn over and 2nd financial year it’s approaching to submit 25 lakhs turnover with more than 35, repeated and satisficed Clint.
In Future, if we can invest more Fund and Strategy to build GOOD in-house team to maintain current Relation, Quality & Timeline. At the same time, if we can focus in Global Market we can assume that there are even greater heights that this company would achieve in the years to come.
What is your best motivation line that inspires you?
“I WILL WIN. MAY NOT IMMEDIATELY, BUT ABSOLUTELY AND DEFINITELY”
Could you share details about source of revenue, client acquisition model and statistics?
KKR BOSE DESIGN is a proper B2B model. It already has 30-40 nos. list of great clientele like: GODREJ, L&T, CMS COMPUTERS, LAND MARIN EQUIPMENT PVT LTD, APLAB LTD, MARS International and many more.
Any other information about your startup that you’d like to share with our readers?
KKR BOSE DESIGN already started another sector as Service Provider in Port Work. We started Erection, Maintenance, Commission, Structural Audit, Refurbishment, Operation for Port Cranes And CFS.
We already executed few projects in Jawaharlal Nehru Port, Kandla Port Trust, Naval Ship Repair Yard-Karwar, Ameya Logistics Private Limited- CFS, CONCOR-Tughlakabad, KALMAR.
