Virat Kohli has broken several records in all the formats of the game over the last 24 months. Earlier in 2017, he became the first cricketer to hit double centuries in four successive test series.

#4. 243 Runs by Kohli is the highest individual innings by any Indian captain in Tests. He broke his own record of 235 – scored against England at the Wankhede last season.

The Feroz Shah kotla, Delhi double century happened to be his sixth and it has now placed him on top of double century scorers for India alongside the legends Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag.
He said his inspiration to score big hundreds has come from watching Chateswar Pujara and his ability to concentrate for long time games.
The Indian captain has scored all his six double hundreds in the last 17 months and has also scored 52 international centuries across formats.
With his amazing record breaks, fans are calling him with names like The Running Machine, Milestone Man.
