Problem it solves: Provides content for every need. Even polishes it.
Hi, Welcome to NettyFeed, Could you briefly tell us about the Founder/s?
Answer: I am the founder of the company. I hold an undergraduate degree in Commerce from the University of Delhi and a Mass communication post graduate degree. My vast experience in content marketing and the digital space, having worked with the likes of domestic and international brands, a content agency of my own seemed like the next, obvious step into my future.
Brief about your startup
Answer: Vocabberry is a one-of-its-kind agency established to provide content solutions, tailor-made to suit your needs. Primary services include real-time writing, creative-writing, copy-editing and proof-reading, delivered to you at your doorstep (rather Inbox), fully-certified by a bunch of spirited grammar-nazis. Vocabberry takes care of the technicalities and nuances of the language for you. So all you have to worry about is having a strong WiFi connection – upload your piece and voila!,
Who are your Targeted audience?
Answer: Anyone and everyone who needs content, design or a video. We produce copies, designs and videos that are client and customer specific. With our pool of writers, designers and videographers we are sure to produce quality and quantity both. Hence, the TG is everyone and anyone who needs content. Any form of content.
What type of strategies do you think is valuable to take company to the next level?
Answer: Vocabberry has achieved in the span of two and a half years, what many companies don’t achieve in the breadth of a lifetime. From an agency that once focused purely on textual content, it has grown and learnt the ropes of the visual world, mastering the domains of video, scripting and graphic designing. Vocabberry’s philosophy is simple – “The future is video.” Our focus lies in mass expansion and developing our video portfolio.
Tell us about your amazing team members?
Answer: My team consists of my brother, Vikram Syal, Head of Design. He is behind the tasteful colours of the website. Vocabberry, in a way, was founded as a tribute to Vikram, a gesture of respect and affection from a sister to her brother. One of my past work gems Neeraj Tripathi, a seasoned web designer who has over 13 years of expertise in graphics and user interface (UI). The fact remains that an individual with such a resume could have worked with any big company in the world, instead Neeraj made the decision to work with one that positively exuded potential. Anupama, our senior writer, takes care of all the content needs that a client floats. Anupama manages a team of several writers to deliver on promised quality and quantity. Shivang manages client solutions and strategy and his biggest contribution lies in his ability to retain customers – thanks to his ingenious skills of persuasion, Vocabberry’s clients simply keep coming back for more.
What is the big picture of your company? What are your future plans?
Answer: The big picture includes setting up Mumbai as a market because it is about exponential growth now given the demand in the market. Also, stablising our video portfolio. Making it stronger because video is the next big thing in terms of content and we are producing some awesome videos. So, next 2 years we see Mumbai as a settled market for us and in 5 we would go look at ourselves as a go-to agency for content nationally and target global demand.
What is your best motivation line that inspires you?
Answer: This is my story. I am the hero!
What were the key Learning’s from your journey that you would like to share with our audience?
Answer: Vocabberry made the distinction of recognising the relationship between quality content and SEO returns. It understood that in a largely visual web, people will only stop to read content that is intriguing, simple and brief. Learnings: for upcoming entrepreneurs, I would suggest keep the fire burning. Most people lose on their entrepreneurial journey. When you have taken a leap into this world make sure you do justice to the role. Being an entrepreneur is not easy. YOU will always have thoughts of going back into your corporate life and make easy bucks sitting on a chair for years. Here, it is about impulse and being driven by what you always wanted. When you are choosing this make sure you choose this for life.
Could you share details about source of funding, revenue, client acquisition model and statistics so far?
Answer: We are a self-funded venture. Client acquisition model is internal marketing and since we work out of a co-working space our 25% business comes from there. We have run organic campaigns and that does wonders as well. In our 2.5 years of business we have worked with more than 250 clients across industries and scale.
